THE STORY OF SAINT LUCIFER SPICE
Some may say it was born of hubris. Two guys who loved to eat wanted to create seasonings that would make everything it touched, taste better. No humble task...
But in a small row home kitchen, hidden within the Heart of Philadelphia, they began experimenting with a large batch of fresh habanero peppers, given to them from Fawcett Farms, in Western Pennsylvania.
Starting by blanching the peppers in balsamic vinegar and aging them mason jars for months, they would eventually pull them out & dry them on their city window sill with some garlic cloves.
So they blended. And grinded. And tweaked. And tasted. And mixed. And analyzed. And tasted more. And in the end, what emerged were wicked spices so tempting, so delicious, so irresistible it’s almost a sin for food to be present without them.
